Go Cam has stopped working with 5.50 Gen-D

hi, my go cam doesn't work with 5.50 gen-d, when i click on the camera option the psp freezes, this happens even when the camera isn't even in the console, anybody else having this problem? my psp is a psp 1000.

GO back to 550GEN-B2 as that works. I was having nothing but problems with GEN-C, D and D2.

I never tried the GO CAM with those firmwares as if other stuff doesn't work then why bother. I wasn't going to stay on that firmware anyway so I never tried it.

You almost certainly have a firmware installation problem. Try pandora then make sure you upgrade to GEN B / GEN B2 / GEN D / GEN D2 in that order.

My Go!Cam is working fine on a JAP and a UK PSP 1000; neither with any extra plugins running. I even went into Flash 1 and changed the relevant RCO file so that you cam take pictures without any shutter sound.

Get back to me if you want to check any of the settings I'm using.

i dont have a pandora battery, can i roll back to m33 without one?

My camera's been working fine with all 5.50 GEN. If you have a custom theme set, disable it and set the theme to original and test it again or try a different theme. The custom theme might have a corrupt or wrong camera PRX/RCO in its CTF.

Ive fixed it, i disabled the vsh menu and all my remotejoy plugins and now it works. :) thanks for your reply's.

Am also having problems with cam

However its not the go!cam its the PSP-450 X that comes bundled with Invizimals.

I have updated firmware to 5.50 Gen D - no luck

Updated firmware to OFW 6.0 Cam finally Works but obviously no CFW

so returned to 5.50 Gen D

also tried a few M33`s along the way with the same results.

Camara Screen apears with no image input before shutting down after a few seconds.

Buyer beware - packed camera with Invizimals is NOT a Go!Cam its larger, blacker and apears not CFW compatible.

If anyone has a solution before christmas it would be g8 as my son is gonna be so disappointed.
