I have a PSP1000, I bought it on Oct 2005 and it has worked quite good since then (just one repair, when the PSP refused to read the UMD-discs). But when I picked it up today I found out that the X-button had stopped to work. The only way it responds is if the charger is plugged in or if I hold the X-button while I switch to hold and then to normal, then it will work, but just for that specific action. So I must do that hold procedure all over again if I want to use the x-button.
The other problem is that when I turn off my PSP it will still light green (but not that normal bright green, more like a faint green). And interesting if I press the X-button while the PSP is turned off that weak green light will change to bright green! This only happens if I press the X-button, nothing happens if I press the other buttons.
