Nethostfs

I have been using Nethostfs for some time now to watch vids with PPA, but only at my house. However, we just got net at my job, and I wanted to be able to access my vids on my home comp from work(there are lots of "wait" time). I have tried using my IP, taken from IPchicken, but I just can't get it to work. Is it possible to use nethostfs to access a comp from a different AP?

O, I am using the latest PPA, and PSPHost 2.0.

1. Is your home BB using static or dynamic IP addresses?
2. Did you set up port forwarding on your router?

I have a Dynamic IP, and port forwarding turned on.

So I take it that it is supposed to work?

it depends on how long it is before/if your IP address is changed (unless it only changes when your router is rebooted).

Ugh.

I didn't have port forwarding done for my desktop, just my laptop. It works now. Thanks for your help. Sorry for my stupidity.
