Microsoft's Shane Kim has given the most significant indication yet that MS are planning to produce a Portable Xbox console. He told a gaming publication that it's just a matter of 'when' in reference to producing such a device.

So we've chosen to focus on the living room experience from a hardware standpoint, if you will, but we're building a service in Live that will... will extend to other platforms.
