I have no clue what I messed up but now my psp seems to be bricked. With the Pandora battery, the screen stays black. Using the AC adaptor I can use recovery menu, not sure if that means I am semi or fully bricked... I formatted my mms so I don't know if I messed anything up there. I am on Vista and my psp is running 5.00m33. I was using a 256 mb ms but I also have a blank 4 gb. I need some help as I have been searching since 2 am nonstop (literally). Please point me in the right direction and thank you for any response

If you was on custom firmware, this mean that psp is hackable. Than two are the answers:
1) Matherboard demaged...but I don't think...
2)You have created a Bad Pandora Battery...
Try to read this guide. I hope the problem is in Megic Memory Stick otherwise you need for another psp to rete a new Pandora Battery:
Super noob guide to making pandora battery and memorystick:

Well I have been using cfw for over a month. I already made the pandora battery and mms. If I am mistaken, you were referring to if I had just started trying to get cfw. I am still learning so I am not too sure of this.

Only 1 Pandora battery, do i need to by a normal one?
For sure. Because when a battery is a Pandora Battery, it isn't anymore a battery. But is a tool...
MAGIC BATTERY TO NORMAL BATTERY
- Start your PSP with the AC in and no battery.
- Once its started up put the Jigkick Battery in.
- Start USB Connection.
- Copy the magic battery creator to your magic memorystick. (if it isn't there already)
- After thats is copied (if it isn't there already) the program will start. Seen this screen before? Thats because you have!
- The only successful way I have found to restore your battery to a normal one with original flash is to, press square to write random version of flash. You can leave it here if you want but noone knows of there is a side effect to not having original flash. So if you have backed up your original battery flash restart the program and now you can press LTRIGGER and RTRIGGER to put it to normal. There is an error writing at 0x14 but everything is fine.
- You have to write a random flash first before your original because it restores your batteries flash but some reason thinks it's a jigkick still!! Writing a random one puts it to normal and flashing the original puts it back to how it was bought.
- Thats it your battery is back to normal

I was trying to follow the steps but once I copied the "magic battery creator" I got lost, if I have to use msinst or mspformat, neither is working for me. If I try to use it they just pop up for less than a second then disappear. I tried running it as admin but that didnt help either. Thanks btw for the quick responses.
