CW cheat walkthrough for snes games

Hi, I'm using 4.01 m33-2 and I'm using the newest version of snes9x tyl.

I'm trying to get the in-game walkthrough for final fantasy 5 to work. I have gotten walkthroughs to work for GBA games and psp games in CWcheat but no luck with snes games.

I've put the walkthrough text named "892e44be.txt" in my text folder in seplugins/cwcheat/text folder. But when playing ff5, I can bring up cwcheat but it won't open up the text reader. What am I doing wrong?

The game id is crc32:892e44be but you can't have ":" in text documents.

I am not sure, but I never heard that chcheat can be used with homebrew...:confused:

lol?? how about you read about snes9xtyl and its functions instead? :) cwcheat does NOT work with it

Thanks for the help, there is indeed a built-in text reader in snes9xtyl. Never thought there was. It was like cwcheat would work, I just couldn't find the right game id or something. I was making things wayyy too complicated.
