If it's less than 3 years old, send it back to M$, it's covered by warranty and yes, I have sent back many consoles that have been modded, got replacements for all of them :)
Just register online at xbox.com/support with your windows live id, register your console to your account using the console serial number, then raise a repair online, at first it will appear when raising a repair that they will charge you for it, however when you choose rrod as the reason for return, there will be no charge on the invoice.
BTW, in the UK, i got a 9 day turnaround personally for both of my consoles, they were sent to germany.

Btw you will most likely get a lite on drive since ms just sent me one.

best thing is X-clamps, it resolved my problems with the 3 red lights...

Like prankster mentions, if its under 3 years since you purchased the console then send it in to Microsoft. I got the single red light E74 issue and tried sending mine in. Unfortunately I was out of warranty by then (launch console). So Itried fixing it myself..... didn't work.

Tried again a week ago, over 3 months since my last attempt and it's worked a charm. Be sure to use thermal paste if you're going to fix it yourself. It's what got mine going again.
