Dan Akroyd favours Wii Ghostbusters due to graphics

Now here's something of a shock, someone preferring a Wii game due to its graphics and not just anyone, the one and only Dan Akroyd. Apparently Akroid prefers the Wii version of the Ghostbusters game due to its resemblance to The Incredibles.



Dan Aykroid has revealed that he prefers the Wii version of Ghostbusters: The Video Game because of its graphical resemblance to The Incredibles.

Speaking to Newsweek, the actor - who provides a voiceover in the game - also expressed his gratitude to the developers for portraying him several pounds lighter.

"Honestly, I love the way we look in the Wii platform, because it resembles the animation that was done in The Incredibles," he said.

"Anybody who looks like an Incredible is automatically a superhero. And I was so pleased that they shaved off at least 60 pounds from my current bulk. The boys look good. We resemble the actors who were in the first movie. You wouldn’t want us out there looking as we do today."

it's about the graphic style! it maybe looks like a pixar movie on wii and realistic on ps3/360. he prefers the animated version, so what's the problem?

Dan has a little more knowledge about these things than people would think. He's been an avid gamer for 30 years. Some of the "porn stars" that maxconsole has review games are quite hilarious though. I would suspect that Dan Akroyd has probably been playing video games way before most of the people at maxconsole were even conceived. :eek:
