I think I may have a reason to get my wii out of the loft. Hopefully this game will encourage others to make good looking games for the wii instead of the tripe that keeps getting put out.

The game looks quite fast as they promised, and it looks good.
I hope the game sell a million or more on Wii for their effort.

The chances of me buying this are extremely high, even if it gets crap reviews. You can tell they have been working quite hard at this, FAR more than the average Wii developer. Other devs need to be encouraged to put effort into their games like this, even if this game ends up being crap. It's the thought that counts this time.

I mostly buy games on 360, then PS3.. and not much on Wii.. but there is a big chance of me buying this just to support a developer using all their efforts for a game.
Selling points for The Conduit by the dev:
- The game is made with passion and love
- Online multiplayer
- Pushes Wii hardware
- Used MP3/MOHH2 as basis for controls
- Running at 60 fps, while most FPS on 360/PS3 only run at 30 fps.
- Motion plus add-on support
- There is more, but i dont remember it now.

They removed motion plus support...well it's in the engine, but it didn't add anything to the game so they tried new melee weapons. which worked great but would have delayed the game so the descided to drop it and disable it. It does however have wii speak thingy support

Thats a bit annoying but I suppose fps don't benefit that much from motion plus as the wii remote already detects where your pointing.

Yes but if you try Medal of honor Heroes 2 on Wii, it you will see that its not needed as it feels like Motion Plus.
If the control gets proper programming, motion plus is not needed.
Motion plus is probably for non-skilled and lazy developers.

It's needed for 1 on 1 controle mapping, not for random controller flinging and useless wagling. So to throw a grenade by a motion doesn't matter if you fling at an angle, but things like slashing with a sword would. So it's needed, but not for these kind of games, unless they incorperate some more melee fighting which it was allready too late for. I respect that decision.
