The previously exclusive Xbox 360 title Ninja Gaiden II is set to be released as a PSN game. A remake of Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden II will hit PSN according to numerous internet reports.

I wonder though if it is a remake of the Xbox 360 game or a remake of the NES game, that's a rather large thing to have as a PSN download. Or maybe I am just crazy.

I read that Ninja Gaiden Sigma II is planned on PS3, not PSN...

I hope this version eliminates the frame drop in the 360 version, if so then I'll buy it!

NG2 is an awesome game!

I wish 360 would also get the updated version as I still, to this very day play NG2 once in a while. Hell, I wish we had gotten Sigma 1 as well.

I thought the original for the xbox was overrated, then they released the hurricaine pack1 then pack 2, then ninja gaiden black, then ninja gaiden sigma.

This is probably one of the most remade games ever. However the second one was a joke.

However if this is your sort of thing, then more power to you, i hated ninja gaiden 2. In fact i got sigma with my ps3 and it has been left sealed for almost two years.

If it's Ninja Gaiden 2, then it'll be an NES port, and on PSN. If it's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, then it'll be a port of the 360 game, and on a disc.

Well I think that the first (current gen) Ninja Gaiden was awesome and to this day I just think what else the xbox could have done if it wasn't taken out back and shot by MS, the second one..... I don't know it seems that it's more about slicing limbs off, than anything. I was an uber fan of the NES series, and at the time I don't think any other game had a better story (nice cutscenes to boot as well); of course, the game play was superb as well. I still haven't gotten around to beating part 1, but for what I saw part 2 is nowhere near the great game that part 1 was. I would still probably get it just to know what happens story wise.

Im just curious as to how it will sell...probably a smart idea though since it didnt sell as well as expected on the 360, yea it barely toped a million but it wasnt even in the top 20 on the 360 last year.

I still don't get how this is even possible. Didn't ms publish the game, or something like that? Well I'm not too thrilled about the direction the game seems to have taken, but for the sake of the story I could play it.... I should probably beat the first one first though.

....hmmm online co-op, interesting I must say. Does the 360 also have that?

i never beat sigma for ps3, but i like ng2 on the 360 WAY better than what i played of sigma.

i guess i'm alone on this, but oh well.

Well I'm guessing you should compare the first Sigma, to the first NG on xbox, or wait for the second Sigma to be released and then compare that to NG2 on 360.

As far as Sigma goes..... I'm having a hard time beating that samurai dude that one stab kills you. Yeah I could always just keep playing after he kills me, but if I can beat him I'm not about to just let that punk walk all over me. Yeah I'm way behind on the NG play, I wasn't even planning on getting Sigma until I saw it at $19.99 on newegg.
