Street Fighter IV - Is the bundled Update Safe?

Hi Guys 'n' Gals

Ive recently had my Xbox Drive Modded with iXtreme 1.5.

Ive got a copy of Street Fighter IV, which is telling me it needs to do an update before it can run.

Just wondering if it is safe to do this, or if I risk my Xbox losing its ability to play my backups.

I'm a relative Noob, but have looked around and been unable to find the answer specific to this game.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Nope, no update is gonna change your dvd's firmware.

Update and play, bear in mine, keep in touch with your modder as it will need updating soon to 1.51 or 1.6 so it can play new games.
