blanking out screen

my cousin dropped my psp, and a few days later while playing mpo+, my screen blanks out! it fades to black, but when i put on sleep, and turn on again, the screen came back. it happens every few minutes, and i cant play online.
help me im so confused...:confused:

I would remove the faceplate and chekc the connections for the screen, there are 2. One for the backlight and the other for the LCD.

If they are tight and seated correctly, i would then try another screen.

Personally i think the backlight is broken to the lcd, typical symptom of a dropped psp. 2nd only to the actual LCD breaking.

uhhh, doesnt that void the warranty, and where do i get another screen?

this info might help a bit: i used a action replay for a bit, but its not likely that it caused this.

and i even brough 2 new screens
