Remote Play with CFW PSP

Im struggling to get Remote Play between my CFW PSP (3.71 m33-3) to work with my PS3. I used this tutorial on how to put back in the remote play but when I try and register the device on PS3 still says need an update. I put back in the files in both module and resource, so I'm confused.

Would upgrading past 3.71 M33-3 be easier and better for me to get remote play working?

just upgrade to 5.00 M33.
I'm in 5.00 M33 and the remote play works just fine
