Hello, i have a PSP of a cousins that is fully functional, except that the AC power plug, will not charge, but the USB charging works fine.
Now, I've told my cousin multiple times, when the psp turns off from a low battery, turn it back on to bring it out of sleep mode, and turn it off, so it isnt draining the battery anymore, then as soon as possible, plug it into the family pc and let it charge over USB. she is 11 and does not listen very well.
anyway .. Is there anywhere online that shows where the fuse locations are what they are a fuse for? I've found some for older PSP's, but they just show where the fuses are, not what they are for. I assume i can snap the fuse off and just bridge where the fuse was, so it will atleast charge. I'm aware it isnt exactly the professional way of fixing it, but i don't know where to find fuses (if anyone knows of where to find one, i would appreciate that too.)
I don't feel like taking the psp apart right now to look for the motherboard model number, but its a silver slim psp, and i think it was a TA-89 (from the last time i took it apart.)
without finding where the fuse is online, i would have to just start trying different fuses until i found one that isnt letting power pass through, which shouldnt be difficult, just a pain in the ass.
Anyway, any help would be appriciated.
