Simply Drag and drop the required file into the ISO folder on the MS.
I use UMDgenv4 for compression etc, there are many more though, YAAC being one.
ISO is best compressed to CSO although it is not always a certainity that they will reduce greatly, it is possible to remove certain files FMV's, Music etc to reduce size if required (i have never needed to) in these cases.

I add...
1)Correct folder is ms0:/ISO
ms0 is the root of memory stick.
2)Name too long?. Try to remane it in 8-9 letters.
3)Update custom firmware to 5.00 M33 V4. Maybe are you try to play recent games.
Install 5.00 M33
http://rapidshare.com/files/154847567/5.00M33.rar
Requeriments:
- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-4 or higher.
Instructions
- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 5.00 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "500.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.
5.00 M33-4
http://rapidshare.com/files/170591048/500m33_4.zip
Copy UPDATE folder /PSP/GAME/ and run.
If you come from a version prior to 5.00 M33, put sony update as 500.PBP in same folder, or let the program download it for you using a wifi connection.
Install 1.50 M33 Only for "phat" Psp.

Instructions
Get the 1.50 sony update from somewhere, and rename it in 150.pbp. Put in root of Memory Stick.
Copy folder called "150k_installer" to /PSP/GAME5XX and run
4)In Xbm menu, press select button. In Vhs menu, change to sony np9600. This can improve Iso compatibility.
5) Fake memory stick!?!.
6) If you play psx game on psp. You must put it in ms0:/PSP/GAME/"folder name of game"
"folder name of game" rename it for example MEGAMAN if have ripped magaman.
ms0:/PSP/GAME/MEGAMAN.
Inside you must have a file called eboot.bpb.
just drag and drop them on to ur memory stick, into the iso folder

If you truely have custom firmware on your psp, check that the UMD ISO MODE is set to Sony NP9660. You can find this on the M33 VSH MENU. Simply press the select button once you turn the psp on. If you have custom firmware, once you press the select button the M33 VSH MENU will com up, if it does not then you don't have custom firmware. Once the menu comes up scroll down to "UMD ISO MODE", if it says "normal" than ISO's won't work, use the direction arrows to switch to the "Sony NP9660." Close the menu by pressing select again.
