That will never happen, the PSP is not powerful enough. However, using homebrew, you can use the PSP as wireless controller for a GameCube emulator on your PC (it will be very slow though).

it would be kinda cool but your best bet is to buy a gamecube if you don't already own one its not that costy i heard last time it was 60$ now i think it might be 40$

I don't believe this. Psp has same Ps2 power, and if I remamber right, game cube is less power respect Ps2...

PSP doesn t have the same power as the ps2 ( is in between the psone and ps2 , biased to PS2... ), second to emulate you need at least 2x/ 3x more power to 'emualte' ( hence the name) components non existent on the PSP hardware.. Common, can t even run intermediate N64 games , that alone is enough to guess..
If you want a NGC game on your PSP, is better to ask for developers to port one :D
Conclusion : buy a NGC or a Wii instead.

Aside from what Azariel, the GameCube had a much more powerful GPU than the PS2.

guys i found an idea to play ps2 games on psp.
1) download windows 98 and dosbox
2) download a ps2 emulator
3) download the ultra iso
4) open the windows 98 iimg with the ultra iso (it must be .img file to run with dosbox) and put the emulator in the .img file
5) save and close
6) install dosbox and windows 98 on psp
7) run the application from the psp
8) when the windows loads then found the emulator and run it
I haven't try it yet because i have a little problem with my psp but i solve it

I don't believe this.
Actually, Dolphin is now open source.

Good luck.
P.S.
System Requirements
* ...
* Fast CPU with SSE2. Dual core a plus.
* Any reasonable modern GPU, support for pixel shaders 2.0 required.

No.
people think that psp is more powerful but it is not.
psps cpu archetecture is 32bit and ps2 is 64bit.(hence the fact that most ps2 games have better grfxx)
and btw gc is only a lil bit more powerful then ps2. stats:
ps2=
cpu 294.912mhz
gpu 147mhz
gc=
cpu 485mhz
gpu 162mhz
But gc has gekko and ps2 has mips plus a emotion engine wich are way more efficient then gekko processors.
