pandora batt stopped working

i have a pandora battery and memory stick ive used a few times ok ,just been asked to do a psp with sony firmware 4.01 on the power light came on but nothing else have sony found a way to stop pandora
ps its a brand new psp just out of box

Sony released the TA-088v3 motherboard a month or two ago. It is not currently hackable (it's being worked on). It sounds like you got one of those; you'll have to wait for a new version of DC to come out. The 4.01 firmware is a definite confirmation of your motherboard version.
