Professional British cyclist, Mark Cavendish, has injured his calf muscle after slipping off his Wii balance board while playing a snowboarding game. Cavendish (who has won the Madison world Championship twice and won four stages of this year's Tour de France) says the he may now have to visit a medic to try and get it sorted out, rather than heading for Tuscany as he'd planned.

Cavendish was forced to cut short a training session last week, but he is confident of joining the Columbia racing team when they convene in Majorca in December to begin preparation for the 2009 season.

I just love it now a days all pro athletes are blaming all there injuries on the Wii. But not on there stupidity. OOO I pulled my leg having sex got to blame it on the WII. I just find it so stupid now, you know one ok but this is like the 6-7th pro athlete blaming there incompetience on the WII for there injury seems like the easy way out or Sony/MS buying them out.
