Downloaded Games to HDD?

Hey, Im sorry if this has been answered. I recently purchased a (usb)HDD for my PS2, and it works great (mostly because Im neurotic about backing my games up). I'd just throw the disc into my DVD drive and rip it right to the HDD... but recently my tray is broke, and I was wondering if there was a way I could download games to my hard drive and have them work on my ps2. I tried downloading one, but all I get are these .iso files, and I dont know what to do with them.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.

search for and download winhiip (last time I checked version was 1.7.3)

you can then transfer the iso directly to the hard drive in the right format, and put the drive back in the ps2 and play.

If I format my drive like this program requests I do, will I lose all of my current back-up games on there? To work my hard drive, I put a disc in there that came with it, and I get a menu on the screen of my HD date. I select my game and Im good to go.

yes, formatting your harddrive will cause all data to be lost...
