Modded drive keeps ejecting?

Hoping someone can help me out here. I have an older 360 which I believe is the Samsung drive and it works great plays discs fine but when I go to put a disc in (backup) it keeps spitting it back out. This takes about 5-10 trys to get it to stay in and actually read. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?

Maybe stuck in mode B, not sure if thats possible, but the same thing happened to a friend, he had to press the eject button twice when closing to get it to stay shut.

if it gets too much to put up with and you dont sort it out just replace it.just get same make drive and switch boards.
