Wow, I have been out of the PSP scene for only a couple months, and now we have pspstates working, 5.00 M33-3 (I'm still on 3.90M33) and DC7. My question is, I only have one battery for my fat PSP, and the UPMS version like 2 or whichever one installs 3.71M33 with Booster's mutli loader ipl, so that I can leave my battery as pandorized so that I can "fix" my friends PSPs as I meet up with them. Does DC7 need a multi loading ipl? Or, as I read somewhere, does the TimeMachine ipl it uses allow it to boot up in normal mode with a pandorized battery? I did try searching and read every relevant seeming thread I could find. Thanks in advance.

Yeah DC7 can be set up to boot your PSP normally. I have it on mine and only need to hold Up to boot into DC7.

Hmm. Well, I installed 5.00 M33-3 and installed DC7 to my memory stick. Now everytime I cold boot my PSP, it only goes to the DC7 menu asking if I want to install 4.01 and the rest of those options. If I select the reboot device option it boots properly into 5.00, but if I try to put it in sleep mode it just shuts off, whether I was in the XMB or a game. Is there some option I need to change? Or a different ipl to fix sleep mode like before?

i have both timemachine and ddc7 installed and my battery is always set to service mode
in
ms0:\TM
there's a file called config.txt which configs the keys for booting different firmwares, ddc 7,pandora etc. By default not pressing any keys boots from the nand
edit - install timemachine first then ddc7 as ddc7 will see timemachine is installed and will edit config.txt for you
as for your question "does timemachine let you use your psp as normal with a pandora battery."
the answer is yes;)

I think with the sleep mode problem you have to hold L Trigger as you're trying to return from sleep mode. I have to do that with mine but then again I'm using Boosters multi IPL loader so I'm not sure if it's the same.

Should not need to hold L if you have the sleep fix multi IPL, TM-IPL is the better bet though.

Yup, I've got it fixed now. Just needed to change the config.txt from "nothing = run dc7"(paraphrased of course) to "UP = run dc7". Thank you so much for your help guys/gals!
