I just bought a white DOL-101 gamecube.
The problem is with the yellow and purple wire, they have to be soldered at the bottom of the motherboard. But how can i lead these wires out? And do i have to put some tape over them?
some pictures would be great.

I think I have to modify the bottom metal plate a bit so the 2 wires can come out?

I didn't modify mine, so you shouldn't have to. Just lead them out, and make sure they aren't being pinched anywhere.
this guy has a good walk thru of a DOL-101. (http://webpages.charter.net/mbcrump/crumpsters_qoob_review/) nice pictures and all... hopefully this will help you.

thank you, i understand now.
but my qoob sx dont want to work, as soon as i put the 2 wires through the hole i get no qoob screen, just a blank screen.
are the yellow and purple wire that important? can i only connect one, and if yes which one?

Uhh...every wire is important. You have to attach them all. And you shouldn't be putting the wires through a hole where a screw might go. Go around the circuit board like in the picture. Also, check to make sure that you bridged the two pins together for connection C (colored black).

Always put tape onto exposed wires.
