Wii Rapid fire mod created, compared to an automatic shotgun

When I play shooting games like that I want to feel like im shooting. Since you cant pop off that many rounds out of a shotgun to fast it just seems liek cheating to me.

I would much rather stand in front of the house of the dead machine at the arcade and play for hours lol

You know what this is lacking? It's class. I would have made the A button glow at different speeds to indicate what mode you are in. I have some spare PIC12F629's that I can mess with to make the same thing but I think ill do it on a ATtiny25v because i prefer ATMEL chips. Adding a simple PWM channel to the LED will allow me to have it glow and change the speed of the glowing or if I want blinking.

Ill write code for it and test it on a ATMEGA64 (yea i know its over kill) until I get a few ATtiny25v chips.

whats wrong with having spare micro controllers laying around? i ordered a **** load of them coz they are free to get for Wiifree chips when they were still good now i use Wiikeys and D2Pros ive got heaps of spare 12f629s

your right on there Absorbent Llama, that is why I have a bunch of 12F629's. Thats also why i wanted to use a ATtiny because programing in ASM for PIC's suck when I can do C on a ATtiny.

So i tested the points that he is using to power the chip and they seem to be hot even with the wiimote off. If this is case the chip will still be pulling power when the remote is off and that will drain the battery's faster. Been poking around the board for alt points for the A and B buttons and found some under the speaker.

I have the code for my version all done and will do some testing with it tomorrow as I dont feel like soldering tonight.

do you have the hex code for this mod at all? i did a quick search and found something but i have to be a member of some forum with 40 posts to download it and i cant be fudged.
