Far Cry 2 leaked... on 360 of course

A short while ago, shots of what looked like a full retail disc of Far Cry 2 appeared on the web, and thus the inevitable has happened... an image of Far Cry 2 is now reportedly floating around the internet. The only saving grace is that this isn't as bad as the Fallout 3 leak which was WAY before the official street date.



ANOTHER batch of reports indicating that Far Cry 2 has been leaked onto the Internet. Which console you may ask? Well the 360 of course! The Xbox360 has really been taking in a lot of early releases of games via torrents, and its quite ironic how these torrents are directed towards the 360 rather than the PC platform many developers consider to be a pirate jungle. At least this leak isn’t as bad as Fallout 3 where the game is still a good two weeks away till release.

I guess it`s only a small numbers of pirate`s out there that using leaked ISO`s, most of the people wait and buy the retail game I think or have already preorder it. Why I think so, well take a look at the xbox360 numbers as a software seller, it shouldent be a sush high software seller if everyone used pirated games out there. But ofcourse it will ikely to loose an hundred thousen to piracy

Both Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 have both already been shipped to retailers, hence the leaks.

This is wrong. Downloading and not buying is morally wrong... it's oppressing the rights of the creator.

I'll be buying this for the pc, should be better than the console editions.

If you see farcry running on the xbox360, you will ACTUALLY wonderwhy they didnt bring out crysis warhead on that console.

farcry 2, does a cool 60fps at all times on that console. sure the game does not have as many objects as crysis does in terms of trees and stuff, but you can clearly tell its the optimised cryengine which powers crysis warhead.

surely they ought to be able to bring crysiswarhead to the xbox360 at a sustained rate of 30fps. I never thought i would say this but crysis warhead is TOTALLY possible on the xbox360.

I've heard Gears of War 2 was leaked and haven't seen it publicly. I'm really looking forward to Gears of War 2 but I can wait an extra month to play the game and I can afford £40 to buy the game.

I don't download games. I buy them for £40 a piece like you but downloading a game is something that can't really be helped. This wil happen and will lose the game companies money. Eventually more people will get into pirating and the game companies will lose even more. After a while the companies will dispand because no one is buying the game anymore. Think about it.
