Cannot play Need for Speed Most Wanted

Hi Guys,

I have a JAP PSP running version 1.5 firmware with the 2.0 version changer. Today bought Need for Speed Most Wanted and tried to load it up. Comes up with the error FFFFFED3 The game could not be started.

Any ideas?

I also have a similar problem with NBA 06 and it just doesnt want to work. Comes up with the loading screen and then turns the PSP off. Very dissapointed.

Try making an iso backup and run it with fastloader 0.7

Works fine for me with UMD Emu 0.8c.

Try changing the loading method (direct load/system menu/copy load)... it does work with UMD Emulator v0.8c

i loaded it with umd emu.8c on system menu then from system menu loaded it with devhook 0.22 no need for version changer i have a 1.5 too works like a charm.

lol you all need to learn to read... i think the question is how to get the original UMD working... you know how you go n buy a nice shiny UMD n stick it in ya PSP? :P

it is possible that the games won't run from the original due to needing an update and the version changer might not work for them...


rip the UMD to a memory stick and play it that way... works fine here

Did you try to do the Swap trick or use Devhook V0.22 to bypass update?
