EvolutionX Trainer Tutorial?

Hello, Fellow gamers I need your help. I am trying to find a good tutorial on EvoX Trainers. I want to start making trainers but I need you Pro's out there help. I do have EvoX on my box and know how to edit the ini file. Any help please! Thanks!!!

about time this subjerct arrived on this forum....HI DOOTDOO...:) how long does it take to do the tutorial?..and also...did you put websites where the programs can be found that you used?...at least i know you put the names of them...i took a brief look at the first one..and also...for the tutorial (this question not answered yet) do you need the actual game to do the tutorial?...

i will have more questions when i start mytrainer making career

I put links to the freeware/shareware programs, the other programs I either don't know where to get them or they are commercial.

To answer your other question, yes you do need to have the game, renting it will work just fine, thats what I do.

Ok, I started following your tutorial step by step and when I got to; Now load up the game on your xbox (I will be showing how to do the Continue trainer for TMNT),
telnet to your xbox's ip.. You will see:
RemoteX Debugger V1.1.

You didn't explain how to telnet to the xbox. Anyay I found out how to do the telnet connection but when I Telnet I get RemoteX Telnet Server V1.0. If I load a game I can't connect to the xbox at all. I have all of the IGR off, telnet is enable,and ftp enable. My ip: 192.168.0.4. Am I suppose to connect first then load the game? When I load a game I lose connection. :( Thanks!

Ok first you have to have IGR turned on then you need to have the tsr to debug then after all that is set always boot evolution x first after it is on then load the game up then take a program like ett and connect to the xbox remeber not all games will let you connect especially if it is a xbox live game hope this helps

also you need to make sure you have evolution x 3925

Ok, Just checked and noticed I replaced the evox.ini 3925 file and forgot to replace the xbe. Duh!. I replaced that,have all the IGR on yes,TSR on yes and still it disconnects when the game loads. I also found out my games won't load while TSR is on yes.:( Thanks!

It's Evox 3935 NOT 3925.

Hey Nemisis, did you try reconnecting to the game? Some games will kick you out everytime you begin a new level.

Also, what games are you trying out with TSR set to Debug? It would help if you put the title of the game, since that would make it easy to detect if it was XB Live game or not.

I'm sorry I do have 3935 installed. The titles I'm trying are: Star Trek SU,Curse,Ninja Turtles,and Bolders Gate II. I Tried this on both of my boxes and ending up with same results. Do you want me to show you what my evox ini. looks like? Thanks!

Can anyone verify if these games (other then tmnt) will load with the tsr set to debug?

Yep, I see your problem, the evox.ini file must be from the older version. You have TSR_Type = 1 and DebugTSR = Yes. TSR_Type should be 2 if you want to debug.

You also have 3 options for IGR, so you have an older version of evox.ini. Replace it with the new one then Reboot your XB. When Evox comes up, go to Settings, set TSR to Debug, then scroll down and make sure you SAVE and Exit. Then reboot your XB.

Hopefully you have Evox 3935, since you said you replaced both the ini and the xbe.

Let us know how it goes.

Try setting TSR to Normal, then reboot XB, then try MS Dash.

Well, the only thing I could say is, make sure xboxdash.xbe is in the C: drive of XB. I would just ftp to the address of your XB, then check and make sure it's in there.

BTW, do you have a modchip that you can turn on/off from out side? I have X2.2 Lite with external switches for switching bioses, enable/disable mod, and enable/disable flash.

If you do, then just turn off the mod, it should boot to XB dash, uless there's something wrong.

This is the right one I hope. But I still am having the connection problem when I start a game.Are the games suppose to be booted from Dvd drive or Hard drive? What the next step? Thanks!

after you turn on tsr to debug, you should be able to telnet to the game once it has loaded (at least tmnt). I can't speak for the other games because I havn't tried them..

i found out that i am able to telnet to almost all of my games...they on hdd too :)

well...on my xbox i have my tsr on debug and igr is on...then..when i load the game i start playing it and then i did a telnet thing...and it works :)....i dunno whats wrong with your xbox..for one thing you need the correct ip to your xbox...and also you need to change the gateway ip to the one thats your router....my problem with my box is that it doesn't go to the ms dashboard :(:(:(....but it does everything else...like all the trainers work, able to connect, xcommander works...emulators work, no problems at all...just that the STUPID PICE OF CRAP DOESN'T LOAD MY MS DASHBOARD :(:(. i hope this somehow helps you..

Well, the best thing to do is get hold of SlaYers_EvoX_Auto-Installer_v2.5 iso

Then burn the iso to a CDRW or DVD, NOT CDR, since he said it won't work 100%.

Make sure modchip is enabled

Turn on XB, put the CDRW or DVD in, turn off and then on the XB

select the proper option (read his readme file that came with the release)

You won't screwup with this auto installer, I've used it when I bought my XB, and it worked perfect.

the problem is that i don't have a cd-rw disc..and could you tell me what this auto installer does?....at once i thought it'd be cool to be able not to go to the ms dashboard..but then i found out i need it to copy saved games to my memory pack so i can take em to my brothers house....during mon-fri i am replying to these from school..so i can't do anything at the moment :(

So you would probably pick the option 6-1) Full Clean Format of RETAIL HD, then use option 6-3) RESTORE RETAIL XBOX HD TO FACTORY to restore it back to normal. Then if you decide to install Evox, like me, use option 5-4) Inst/Upg just EvoX - Retail HD (C:). Then you would have to update from Evox 3921 to 3935, since this release has only 3921 version available.

Now remember, you would lose all the data on the HD, unless you back it up first by booting to Evox using this installer, which will allow you to connect XB to PC. If you get this far, and want to backup your game saves, use XBox Saves Manager 4.5 from http://www.xbox-saves.com/

thnx for your help Goku...i will use this info to fix my xbox..i fiddled with the ini and it won't load anything but error message and original xbox games...honestly i tried copying the original xboxdash.xbe from my backup file of xbox hdd to the new one and it broke...and my brother has the boot disc that worked and he said all i have to do is just transfer the ini after it boots ..thnx a lot Goku---this happened yesterday :( i can't play arx fatalis and gladius and I-ninja and other games :(

it allows you to do both but i see no need what so ever to have or use this programs because you can do the same thing if you are using a ftp program all you have to do is copy whats in the c drive of your xbox and copy the udata and i think the other one is called tdata if you are using the saves from like the website saves.com you dont need the saves manager program a ftp program will do the same its no different

xbox save manager uses ftp (built in, you dont see it) to transfer from xbox -> pc or pc -> xbox. Anything beyond that you would have to use the ms dash, or any number of various file manager tools that runs on the xbox (xtoolbox, avalaunch, etc)

I don't think there's really a need for Halo .ETM trainer, since there's already one out that will let you cheat whether the game is on HD or on DVD. It's out on the xbox-saves.com site.

well from looking at your ini file on here it looks like your running an older version of evolution x you need to get evolution x v3935 and then when you install evolution x 3935 make sure you add all the files it comes with and replace the it with the new ini.file then im sure the trainers will work for you

Ok quick question dunno if it will be possible I have a modchip that has the on/off function attached to the power button sometimes I want to use the in game reset to switch from game to game on my HD but if I hold down the triggers press back and start it must be doing a full reboot because it goes back to the m$ dashboard is there a way to stop this from happening? TIA
