Having bought a D2sun from a supposedly learned guy it appears the chip is too thick,When re-assembled it won't load or unload backups or other,My wi is relatively new(1 month),Therefore does anyone know a slimmer solderless solution?,The serial of the new wii is LEH 2079

If it is on a clip and installed correctly it will fit,the drive is tight when it goes back on ,this helps to hold the clip in place ,but it will fit,ive never heard of any body not being able to get there drive back in because of a thick clip, the clips are machined ,they are all the same size. also you need to set the switches

Thanks guys Could be me then perhaps it needs pushing in alittle firmer, I'll have another look at the youtube vids,Sorry I don't have a photo,Maybe It's not sitting right but it definately hampers the disk tray operation,
It's a D2sun V5b

On a more serious note.... are you confirming you do have it fitted with a clip?
If so where does it appear to be thick?
On the chip end or the actual push down clip? Would be handy if you could squint in and see as you lower the drive back on top.

d2sun does support d2e -- well the older ones didn't. But what does this have to do with d2sun being too thick?
