my network settings for the computer are
ip address 192.168.0.1
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
my ftp settings of the xbox are
ip address 192.168.0.3
subnet mask 255.255.255.0

i use flash fxp but i cannot connect.
it used to work perfectly before
i use avalaunch and even when my cross-over cable is not connected to the xbox avalaunch still displays the ip address every time i turn on instead of displaying "no Link"

ok try this because your ip address on your pc is 192.168.0.1 on your xbox (assuming you have evox or somthing like that) you should first set your ip to static then enter this ip address 192.168.0.2
then when you open flash fxp goto sites ,site manager, quick connect and then..whe it's openset it up like this...

site name-------xbox
ip address 192.168.0.2 port 21
username xbox (make sure the anonymous box is unchecked)
password xbox
then click connect and it shouls connect hope this helps if not feel free to pm me

I use flash fxp, crossover cable. I had no problem before. then I installed zonealarm and it wouldnt see my xbox. I messed around a bit and added the ip address of my xbox to the allowed list, and it shows up again.
