WWE star Randy Orton has emerged as an unlikely protestor against those who claim video games are too violent by demanding MORE violence in computer games. He noted the more blood the better and video games are the least of parents' worries when they don't even know that their kids are watching South Park. He further remarked that the Goodfellas movie is way more shocking than violence in a video game and called GTA just a cartoon in comparison.

He cited the example of the Scorcese gangster flick Goodfellas as evidence that movie violence could be far more shocking than anything in a videogame, calling Grand Theft Auto "just a cartoon" in comparison.

"The violence [in Goodfellas] is against human beings. There's rape in movies - you see all kinds of f***ed up s*** on film," he observed. Playing Mortal Kombat underage, added the man who now hits people for a living, hadn't done him any harm.

Orton, in true narcissistic WWE fashion, enjoys "playing with himself" in the game, and is particularly pleased with the accuracy of his tattoos in this year's update. He owns an Xbox 360 and Wii, his favourite recent game being Mario Kart, although he sticks to the regular controller as "the wheel is just a gimmick".

I totally agree with him. Some films are much more violent, and contain more things that younger people shouldnt be watching.

i agree, but i also think he is just fishing for fans... Insane games would exist, but no companies allow AO games on their consoles and thats the way the cookie crumbles.

how are you supposed to put more violence in a game? I thought it was all about shooting and blowing up things allready?
Just more gore?

I want more platformers myself, and fun games..

I completely agree that movies are just as bad or worse in violence and porn compared to video games. Only problem with more violence in games is that politicians and parents will attack them even more.

Yeah the comparison between violence in games and movies have been made for quite awhile now. Have you watched Japanese horror films? I don't mean Ringu or Ju-on, but Battle Royale and Ichi... it makes the Saw series look like the norm.

Voices in his head told him to say that :)

I always knew I liked this guy. Obviously agree, though South Park isn't video games, Video Games are the new South Park and Rated R Movies. Naturally parents who can't BE parents need someone to point the finger at. And Danight, I must say I prefered Burn In My Light a lot more than that song.
