Okay my PSP has finally packed up. It no longer works so I need to know what the situation is with Custom Firmware.

Is it possible to downgrade any firmware PSP Slim? I wish to buy a PSP Slim and Lite but I am not aware of the situation of the PSP Scene, could someone fill me in on some information.

With a pandora's battery, it is possilbe to put custom firmware on most slims, although a recent motherboard change (TA-088v3) doesn't allow the very newest slims to be downgraded. If you are going to buy a slim, buy used...
