Unofficial gpSP kai problem

I downloaded UO gpSP kai 3.2 test 8.7 and put it onto my PSP Slim. I was playing megaman battle network 3 for a while and then saved and shut off my psp. When I turned it back on and loaded up the game it loaded from a previous save file (near the beginning of the game). Now whenever I save in the game and turn off my psp it only loads from this old save. I can use save states, but I was wondering if anyone knows what is going on?

I have a Silver PSP Slim and CFW 4.01 m33-2
