NDS Lite lower screen and green light blinks and turns off when powering on.

Hi, and hope someone can help me.

Am I in the right forum btw?

Im from Norway, and my brother has this NDS Lite. He broke on of the hinges, and I easly tryed to superclue it. The lid got stuck, so we orderd a full replaceing kit from dealextreme.com. I think i got it all right, but now, when i turn it on - the green light turns on for 2 sec, then the lower screen blinks white, and they both gets turned off.

Its like the DS just turns off then it tries to turn on the lower screen. :confused:

I got it opend here - is there any way to find out what could be wrong?

I've seen this issue before. The problem is that the ribbon cable to the top screen isn't fully seated. The DS powers on, checks the bottom screen and finds it to be there, then checks the top screen, can't find it, and powers off as a result.

The ribbon cable reportedly goes in deeper than most people expect. Try pushing it in a bit more and see if that fixes it.
