Hi, I have searched the forums but I have had trouble finding the answer to my question. I have modded a couple of wii's before but never a D2E drive. I learned from reading the forums that I have two choices Wasabi V2 or D2Pro chip. I have decided to go with a Wasabi but I am not comfortable soldering to the legs of the IC, so I want to get a wiiclip. My question is has anyone installed a Wasabi V2 + wiiclip V5 on a D2E drive? The main reason I am asking this is because when I go to the wiiclip V5 website the picture of the Wasabi is the V1 chip and not the V2 which is needed for D2E drive. Will this configuration work? any additional information would be helpful too!
