Ok, first off, let me explain I am terrible with lingo, so explain to me as if i were a child

I have a wii with the wiikey installed, when SSBB was first coming out you could not play it on the wiikey, so i decided to do the trick of corrupting it via the upgrade disk and pulling it out. When i did that i was told you would be able to revive that using the recover disk, but So far I am not able to do so, I do not know if this matters but its been about 4months since ive done anything with it, if anyone has a more in depth way of saving my wii Please tell me. I really am begging you guys.
I need help with how to burn and successfully use the recovery disk, and i have not upgraded to the firmware that allows you to run SSBB

sounds like the firmware on the will keys is corrupt
have you bunted the recovery disc using good media & img burn

you have to install the disc wait for the GC logo click start then let the disc run for a couple of Min's then switch off console boot back on then if the recovery my successful the recovery disc will not so on the screen again

Wiikeys are very cheap now

or zelda homebrew then use downgrader for the firmware on the wii change it to the firmware before

Where are you based

get the recovery disc from here (http://wiinewz.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.teambadattitude.co.uk%2 FWii%2FWiiKey%2F1.9b.recover.zip)

1.burn the recovery disc to a dvd , Switch on Wii and eject any disc you may have, in your wii's drive .
2. next Insert the recovery disc, and then reset your Wii,
3.Wait for at least 3 minutes. There will NOT be any sign that
the wiikey is recovering, and the recovery disc will not appear in the Wii's menu.
4. Power off the Wii and switch it back on again.
5. the wiiKey should now have recovered its firmware, and the EPROM will be restored to default settings.
6. update to 1.9s
7. enjoy.

I just recovered my brother's wii today. Here's the steps that I followed:

- I started off with no disc in the Wii, and unplugged the Wii for 5 seconds.
- Plugged it back in, pressed Eject, and waited 5 seconds.
- Power On, saw safety screen, and stuck 1.9b Recov in.
- Waited till it stopped spinning, and Pressed A.
- Pressed reset at the menu.
- Waited at menu for 4 minutes.
- Power Off. Waited 10 seconds.
- Power On, waited till disc stopped spinning, and Pressed A.
- At the channels, there will not be a GC Logo.
- Ejected 1.9b Recov.
- Inserted 1.9g. A GC Logo SHOULD appear this time.
- Update as normal, then to 1.9s if needed.
