with the popularity of guitar hero, i had a brainstorm (bit smoke of course) with a possible program to aid guitarists. why not have a program which spouts guitar tabs much like guitar hero. obviously connection of the guitar to psp is out of the picture, but a program which streams guitar tabs like a six button version of the game that plays the requested song in the background so the player could harmonize is pheasable to say the least. instead of the coloured gems, numbers could be reeled along the in game fret board. obviously there would have to be some option to slow the track. i havent a clue how to program so this could be a project for someone who cares. toodles.

I know there is a program like that for DS, and a "connection" of a guitar (aka: real guitar, real tabulature) to PSP is quite possible (there are PSP microphones, after all - else skype wouldn't be in the firmware.)

Good idea though, go make it and come back here and release it (releasing ideas is likely NOT the point of thish "PSP Homebrew, Emulation & Developers Release Corner" thingin) - I'm sure others would enjoy it.

there is a homebrew game called guitarway to heaven, I stumbled across a torrent for it, it's completely homebrew, and emulates guitar hero, Google it it's out there, I've never downloaded or tried it, but I know for a fact it's out there
