hey guys, this is my first time on the maxconsole boards. so yea, i havent really messed with my psp for a while and today i was thinking about how cool it would be to play dino crisis and resident evil. my system is currently at 3.10 OE-A and i want to upgrade it to the best custom firmware available rt now. I was wondering if someone could tell me the order in which i would have to upgrade (ex: 3.10--3.24---3.55-3.71-4.01). It would be awesome if i could just go directly from 3.10 to 4.xx or whatever but i kind of doubt that that's possible. If someone knows of any easy psp CFW installer software for the pc i would like to know about that too. Also i heard that one of the later CFW's actually let you network update from the XMB. Is this true?

Yes, latter firmware let's you install directly from network update. You're on 3.10, u need 3.52, then 3.52-4, then 4.01M33. No need for easy installers, just read the .txt that DAX writes in every release.

thanks man, i'm doing it as i type this. There's a lot less updating than i thought there would be. So are psx games more compatible at this point or are they still kind of sketchy. Also is there a better SNES emu out there right now? Currently i'm running SNES 9x me.
