Here is the battery anybody know if I can put this into service mode.
( I know probably its not possible but somebody have to check it out maybe fake battery might work for pandora as well. I have a back-up battery so I'm not worried sacrificing this for a good cause).

Don't you already have a CFWed PSP? (other that a slim w/ TA-085v2 or TA-088 that is.) If so why don't you try the soft mod method 1st. If not then I guess If you really want to try, it should be one of the pins (can't really tell from pic) at the corner of the eeprom with the 5 next to it (bottom center left of pic). I suggest you use a soldering iron and heat up the solder and then lift the pin from the board, so tha if you need to you can just solder it back and make it useable again.
P.S. I doubt that this battery will work, but if you really want to try then.....

Both do have 4 legs but this is different because its fake (cheap lol):D
tbdawg: I do have a PSP with CFW but the fake batteries can not be put to service mode with it. I thought maybe it can be hardmoded to change the serial. If it works it'll be good for everybody since they are so cheap. (Bought it for $5 from ebay).

that battery doesn't have a write-able prom. That component with the PSP sticker on it is a single purpose asic meant to fool the PSP into authenticating and using it, which includes a pre-programmed (and unchangeable) serial number. Probably the only way to use such a battery for pandora would be to make a mod chip for it that patches the single wire serial protocol for the battery serial request - how effective that would be when you can just get a knockoff with a pandora serial for $11 is beyond me.
BTW: you don't put "the battery service mode", if the battery has a service mode no one I know of has discovered it. By using a battery with a specific serial, you put the PSP into service mode when you combine the two (PSP+battery with a specific serial.)

My brain gonna pop. I think this is way beyond my knowledge.
