Flashed a few 360's in the past and never had much trouble until now.

Tried a flash on a benq drive, read fine and erased but would not write new firmware.

Obviously this left me with a drive which reported an error on boot E63 I think.

After much buggaring about, I manage to flash what I believed to be the original firmware back to the drive.

The state of play now is that it boots ok, but any attempt to play either a backup or original is met with " Please insert a 360 disk screen " as if everything was a copy lol.

SO is this bricked or recoverable???

Have the orig plus cfw bins but the software reckons no key is within the files.................a bit dumbstruct.

if there is no key displayed when you open the firmwares with firmware toolbox and if they have been flashed to the drive and it is saying TO PLAY THIS DISC INSERT IT INTO A 360 then yes you have bricked the drive, meaning you cant play games on the 360.so its not much good for anything now.
