man i cant wait for this. looks REALLY good even in its pre alpha stage. and they still have 7 months left to work on it. this game should be ace. sh!t this and infamous(which looks awesome as well),ps3 seems to already have 2 AAA titles to begin in 09. not bad. and theres still resis2,motorstorm2,LBP,socom, for this year. seems sony planned out their games this time.:D

These, game I gonna checkout more before buying, still can't decide until I see their gameplay. I'm kinda shocked at resistance 2 demo during the conference, looks to bland for a shooter.

Same here, I don't see anything worth the amount of praising it gets.
How come the same people bash Gears of War or every other FPS? What's so different about this particular game?


Then again, it does give a little bit of that Golden Eye vibe, same thing which Black has had on a PS2/XBOX1. Just a little bit so far though. We'll see.

Probably Metal Gear Solid 4 (which I didn't like that much). I also think that Killzone2 gets too much exposure before even being near gold status. Halo 3 was hyped, too but at least not 2 years before its release. I mean, when was the first Killzone 2 cgi trailer? Feels like ages ago...


EDIT: Yeah, it really does resemble Black on PS2. I realy liked that one. And I'll most likely give KZ2 a shot, too :)

Gotta love the cooments saying it looks good so the game must be good, gfx don't make a game good.

That said the GFX aren't exactly all that impressive and certainly isn't near the fake ones. Looks like black on the xbox 1 or PS2 to me, which while nice is not the gfx tour de force that it was claimed to be, and certainly not in the same ballpark as Gears of War, let alone Gears of War 2 or CoD4.

I'll hold my judgement on the game it'self until i get to play it (if it plays like black then that will be no bad thing) even based on the dire track record

Everyone has their favorites and everyone has their dislikes both blind players from the truth. You sound just as bad as the people saying the game is good cause the graphics are good. You can't make a true judgment until you play it. You choose to be blind you will miss out on good titles.
