looking at the locked thread of the mods. Is it illegal to have a pandora battery.

No its not illegal.
Its probably one of those grey areas but essentially it is a tool to unbrick a psp without having to pay sony and wait ages if your out of warranty.

Why just point out the Pandora battery then, why not state that anyone selling ANYTHING on the forum, will incur a ban.

sellers are cracked down on but it is the expressed wish of the community that helped to create the pandora battery that it is not sold for profit. maxconsole has been outspoken on the issue rightly. it is encouraged to borrow a battery or get someone to make one for you. there may be places you can buy or sell them but its not here.
