I think it's getting to that time where we'll all have to upgrade to play the latest and greatest games for the Sony PSP. GTA is just the beginning.

Look at it this way, if GTA will only run under 2.0 what about the next hot game 6 months from now? Will it need 2.5? Hell yeah. It's clear this is how sony plans on killing the PSP hack scene.

In my opinion the only way to be free of this will be a hardware mod like every other console. Yes, I know you can soft-mod the Xbox and such, but lets be real... to get the most out of a system you need a hardware hack.

And so I have upgraded to 2.0 and dont plan on going back. If I really miss my 1.5 I'll go out and buy another PSP to use just for software hacks and my images. But to be honest I would rather just wait for some kind of hardware hack. I know someone will make one as soon as the software side of the PSP scene slows down, and it looks like it's about to.

If Sony would only unlock AVC video I would forget about 1.5 all together, but it doesnt look like thats gonna happen anytime soon.

This has nothing to do with exploits, moving it to the proper forum.

I too have sinned and upgraded to 2.0.......
I figured Id spend more time playing GTA then all the other games playable off memory stick combined.

I already miss Madden w/o loading times :(
But on a positive side, the loading times on GTA are very minimal off umd
Hopefully a hardware mod or something else will give us the best of both worlds....

Your right sactown-sav, Madden is the only game I miss so far from the stick.
