I know its kind of a pointless thread, but I'm SO excited!
Soon we will have:
major updates to Pops (because a ton of PSX games got released on PSN Japan).
a new Popsloader (unfortunately I'll have to do some work decrypting firmware updates to get a fully functional popsloader, but whatever)
DcV6
Savestates (maybe)
Hopefully, DAX will implement all the features from the GEN cfw
IDEALLY he would also add in the Red_Squirell alternate vsh features as well (don't count on that one tho)
Updates to the web browser, Mp4 player, RSS channel (lol), and possibly some hidden visualizer updates (they throw those in almost every time)
its possible that they might even add the utopia kernel (maybe)
I'm totally Jazzed. and I can't wait. ok well I can and will wait, but like I said, I'm DROOLING!

Lol, you're normally "All business" and to the point... nice to see you dancing around like a school kid over an update :P
I'm looking forward to it too, any idea on time frame?

just fyi - the utopia kernel will *not* run sony code. i doubt we'll see it worked into one of the traditional style m33 releases.

Might be a boot option under Time Machine...

If and when utopia is released it will run just like 1.50 does now. Selectable from the recovery menu. There might also be a GAMEUTOPIA folder also/instead. This comes from Math's post...just read it.

Utopia kernel is far from finished at this point in time. It will take a few more months before we will see anything from it. So do not get your hopes up yet.

I find it funny how 4.0 m33 is way more anticipated then Officail 4.0 was even when the rumours where flying around with crazy stuff it was going to support :)
Well I guess if sony didn't make such a rubbish update it would seam as good................. nah, dax's work is always much more aprecheated than sonys half arsed attempts at "features" :D

Can't wait for official pops remap.
Savestate is nice but i usually don't cheat :p
In-XMB config is very handy.

this is true... and even when it is finished, I doubt we'll see anything coded for it within the first week anyway.
but anyway, it's still something to look forward to.. and now that public interest has piqued, I think we'll see the release date sooner than we think. (but not that soon)
