Do they work fine with ISO's, homebrew, and anything else (i already know se plugins dont work on them. I was thinking about one because they are only 60 dollars for an 8 gig at micro center

Everything is working on my 2gb Lexar. Plugins work also. I dont see why its a problem for other people.

I dont trust Lexar Memsticks....

I have purchased 2....well actually I purchased 1....It failed, so I got a replacement, and 3 weeks later the replacement also died...

Bugger Lexar!!

Ild rather a "Fakey"

Not one of my fake cards has played up.

I'd just stick with sandisk - i own 4 sandisk memory sticks (1x 1gig, 1x 2gig, 2x 4gig) and have never had an issue. plus they arent too expensive.

i had a lexar stick that wouldnt load plugins, before 3.80M33 i believe, but it worked fine after that.

Something to do with the memory stick driver i think....

You can convert any memory stick into a magic memory stick. I myself haven't done Lexar but i have done a lot of others and i never seem to have a problem. You also do not have to worry about the size. For example, 2 gig 4 gig or even 8 gig they all work.

There you go that should help you out. Have fun :)

Bottom line:
Sony Memory Sticks - TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE
Sandisk Memory Sticks - $5-$10 less but comes in shiny colors :p
Lexar Memory Sticks - You never know with them? Is $20-$30 less off a memory stick worth the risk?

For LEXAR, I think it's the batch that comes into the store. Some work great, others don't. I have two 4GB, got them at frys for 25$ each. Have CXMB and SEPLUGINS along with Popsloader on it. Both Sticks work fine. Also didn't need Fatsmod.prx because the transfer rate is fast, iso like God of war runs at normal speed. My cousin, on the other hand, got one that has a slow transfer rate but Popsloader Plugins works on that one. For the price, it's definately worth a shot, especially if you get one that works like it's suppose to.
