EEDAR analyst, Jesse Divnich, has said that the PS3 is likely to continue outselling the Xbox 360 in June thanks to MGS 4. The analyst expects that MGS 4's PS3 exclusivity means it will "act as a bigger catalyst in terms of driving PS3 hardware sales than did Grand Theft Auto IV." The analyst went on saying: "PS3 exclusive games sell 45% more, throughout their lifetime, than multi-platform titles available on the PS3. Exclusive titles for the other two systems, the Wii and Xbox 360, only boast a small increase in lifetime sales over multi-platform titles."

I completely agree this game is overhyped. I played 4 hours of this game last night and I wasnt impressed. Story is very unclear from the get go especially if you havent played the past few mgs games and the learning curve for this game is extreeeeeeemely steep on normal mode. this game should not be a 10/10.

i'll have to agree that 500 dollars + mgs4 another 60 is really steep for a console that doesnt really have anything going on for it at the moment. I think people will think twice about getting a ps3 this year in the US because economy is just terrible here. I am actually surprised to see that the ps3 is doing better than the 360 right now in sales considering it's a huge price difference.

Gotta admit that the previous MGS titles had crap controls. At least they addressed it in this release with having an over the shoulder aim while being able to move like Gears of War.

As far as AAA titles go. I don't remember the MGS game on the PSP selling consoles or being memorable after a month of it's release. That game was received and rated very well, yet did not stay at the top of public appeal very long.

aside from GT5P (which is only a little more than a glorified demo, that you pay for) i would have to agree, those are the top games on sony's ps3. however, i could never call heavenly sword a AAA title (an A title maybe, but the short length was disappointing, therefore not good value for money).

therefore, i would have to say there's...what...4 (exclusive) AAA titles?

Sometimes they are right, Take a look at Zelda's Metascore and the amount of Game of the Year, Game of the Decade and Greatest Game of All Time awards its won, there is no doubt of its authenticity and the same goes for GTA:San Andreas.

COD4 is AAA. Best FPS shooter around on all formats. Plus online heaven!

GTA4 is AAA. Love it or hate it, you know what you are getting and it delivers.
