I need some help please.

Ok bought a psp and this morning i got it and iv got cfw 3.52M33 running.

Im trying to run games from the memory stick but im confused.
Iv download GTA vice city stories and i dont know to to make the game run? someone help.
I also downloaded the ps1 game Metal gear solid and trying to get that to work as well its already converted to an ISO and i put that in the game folder.
But when i click on games it says games corupted or something.


Any help would be nice.

Ok...PSP Isos...thats actual games made for the PSP platform, go Into /ISO/, In ISO format..Thats /ISO/Game Name.iso

Psx games like Metal Gear Solid, need to be converted to an Eboot, using a program like PSX2PSP, or IcedTea. At this stage, you can also add custom Icons and background Images, plus a little background music and a Gameboot Image, If you have them...Thats PIC0.png, PIC1.png, ICON0.png, Gameboot.png, plus an AT3 music file If you have one....

These are not necessary, but they sure make things look much prettier, and more professional

Psx games, once converted to Eboot, are then placed In their own directory, In, /PSP/GAME/

In other words..../PSP/GAME/Game Name/Game Eboot.pbp

Keep the directory name short, and try and avoid using spaces.

To run Psx games, you will also need the popsloader plugin!!

This Is a simple to Install plugin.....available easily for download, and with full Instructions on how to Install and enable....but basically copy the seplugins folder to the root of the memstick...making sure It Includes all the prx versions....boot into recovery mode, and enable the plugin, then on first run of each game, a menu will pop up, asking you which version of pops do you want to run the game on. If It doesnt work the first time...restart the game, but hold the Right trigger, when you do, and the menu will open again....If It worked the first time, you will not see or need the menu again.

Btw...I learned all this, by reading these forums, and didnt ask 1 question.....the Info Is available, If you take the time to read, but I understand why many people dont...theres just so much to go through.

Oh...and one last thing...consider upgrading to 3.90M33-3 before you do ANY of this stuff.

and yes lol the reason for not searching all through the forum is because as you said there is a so much here and it seemed like a daunting task, but after i have got just the help i needed i shall look through. thanks again mate.

Yes but im a new psp user so iv no idea how to do that and would most liekly take me longer than downloading the games i already own.
