how do i install custom firmware on 2.82 PSP

i have a psp with firmware 2.82 and i want to install custom firmware which number firmware do i need, i heard it was 3.03 OE-A all the guides and tuturials are assuming you have downgraded to 1.50 already but all i want to know is how to upgrade to 3.03 OE-A if this is the right version

my motherboard is saying IC1003 on the left side if i turn the UMD slot upside down to have a look, if that helps
