i believe it was just the quality of the video. i wish there was an hd version available. the title looks pretty good, and with 'another' 10 months of development time, it should shape up very nicely.

it will be an '09 purchase for me.

If you're into it, MGS4 is coming out soon. There's also GTA4, but you can get that for the 360 as well. I dunno, it's not like there aren't any good games out there for the PS3. I honestly loved Uncharted, but the other two games I have are out for the 360 as well.

thanks for the link, i didn't even think of checking gt, yeah looks much better. definitely a title to pick up next year.

Actually the gun reminds me of the one in the Haze Demo(on PSN, it sucks btw. imho) I thought they were going to go for a 3rd person shooter. This is just another overrated & updated version of Doom. Thats all that every single FPS in the world to date is. Doom or better yet Wolfenstein. That's my opinion. Fps are old and Snoooriiing........zzzzzzzz........

does anyone think that the gun in this game remind you of the gun in call of duty 4? this isnt a diss or anything. just a cool note. game looks cool, but the logo at the end looks like mspaint. : ) hope its good!

Which gun in CoD4? I can't think of any guns :P, this is like the main gun of Killzone, kinda like that gun in Halo 1 that they took out in Halo 2 for some reason and brought back in Halo 3. I want this game now :D, damn delays... better be worth it.

I am disappointed they changed the fire effects from the first trailer... It looked so much better... Why does the graphics not impress me?... For some reason it looks more cartoony or something to me... I can't explain it. If the game lives up to the hype I'll get it.

I'm not really looking forward to this game. Killzone 1 was ok at best, I much preferred the PSP Killzone to be honest. I think the graphics are only a portion as good as the pre-rendered stuff shown 3 years ago and I really don't think it looks as good as the recent Gears 2 video for 360. My biggest beef is that the explosions looks like they came from Quake 2.

Yeah I was much more impressed with the Gears 2 vid, had much more of a wow factor to it, this looked good but nothing stood out to me. And yeah wtf is up with the explosions and fire effects? They suck big time man!!! :mad:
