My psp will not connect to pc

I have searched the net and found simular problems on afterdawn,

my psp firmware 3.71 M33-3


will not connect to the pc via usb.

i have tried to restart pushing r, then enable usb and try to connect via this menu

i have tried with 3 different memory sticks in

i have reset default settings

i have formated the memory stick

when i try to connect via usb i recieve a warning 1 of my usb hubs is malfunctioned


what can i do?

Depending on the OS, you are using, first thing I would do, Is remove the offending hub, and reinstall any drivers If needed....basically with XP, Ild remove and then simply reboot...and It would or should pick things up again.

I believe the problem Is with the PC, and not the PSP...

I have tried on 4 pc's now and re doing everything but no koy.
it seems that the pc is talking to the usb and psp but it is not sucessful

is there a specific usb drive for psp from sony

Is there a way to run the 3.91 update without the usb connection

its the cord....try switching up the cord i had the same problem.... my psp wouldn't be read by the computer.... and i used diff pc's and it wouldn't read it but i changed the cord and it seemed to work...soo it might be the same with yours...try it out n post results
