Microsoft preps for future bannings

The update Microsoft implemented will ban future Xbox 360s from XBL. I'm saying this because MS last wave of bannings was releasing an update that did nothing before Halo 3 was released. They said it was for Halo 3,but it was just new detection software. Expect some more bannings after GTA4 is released. I'm just giving you guys a warning heed my warnings. I won't be playing any of my backups on XBL that's for sure. I just hope their new update doesn't detect the firmware.

It doesn't matter on how many warning people are given when gta hits the net, people will play it on line etc... thats life and if bans are made, then they come on here saying "I just got banned etc" lol... way of life i guess.. and i probably will play it to, dont bother me if i get banned..

I'm only warning people. Don't listen to me. When you get banned don't blame me. All I can say is I at least know MS tactics now. Well when people get banned I can at least say I tried. Also, there's proof when MS came out with a random update before Halo was release that was really new software to detect backups. I assuming their new can detect firmware. It could only be backups again though.

so why not just wait and see what happens,news flys around fast so the outcome will be know whether its good or bad.

apart from that,either update and carry on using modded drive with backups and get banned or not.use a nonmodded console with originals and you should be okay.

Hmmm how did you know that, have you been stalking me or something?

My super elite airflow intercooler ( i have 3 attached to each other) DESERVES 5 shelves, one for each peripheral.

Since then i have moved my 360 into a air tight zip lock bag and wrapped that up in 36 towels and encased it in concrete for extra cooling power. I also welded 3 more intercoolers to the sides of the concrete block, so dont complain.

I cant be botherd with flashing since i value each game i play and i want to be the best at each instead of being super shitty at each one of them. Untill i have a 1000GS on cod4 and mass effect, im not planning on doing any thing to my 360.

Do you even know how they check the firmware? the chip was never programmed to check itself to see if it was modified, m$ added a check at the last minute which they can only ping the chip an get a response code they cannot just make up a new response code you would have to reprogram the chip. You are only speculating and doing a bad job of it. stop trying to create a false sense of panic. EVERYONE will have to update at one point or another to play on live.

Did you ever think that maybe m$ is preparing for a major increase in Live activity??? COD4 new maps, Halo 3 New maps, GTA Multiplayer. Im sure they don't want a repeat of what happened around Christmas of last year. Anyway Being banned is nothing to be scared of. If your banned so fucking what you save up $ for another xbox.

unlike you I actually have friends on Live they don't all of a sudden go away if I were to be banned. have you played PSN lately seen all the trouble with servers

i'd certainly prefer dedicated servers for game updates and patches than some laggy download what takes a good hour to download

and dont talk so much rubbish if the ps3 was hacked you could guarantee nearly every person would have it done like the 360 if you had the choice to pay near nothing for game of course you would do it

Seriously mate, are you replying to me, or have you accidently pasted my quote into your reply. Read what I said again, my beef was with his argument, in that he's saying why pay anything else to microsoft, when they've the cheek to ban him because he's playing copies. He knew the risks. Tough sh1t. Where does it say in my post about wether or not people will mod there ps3 when the times comes and it's hacked. Read again, his argument was that he would rather pay full price for the a ps3 games (he must be as it can't be hacked at the mo). So why didn't he just do that in the first place with his 360.
