I have used cloneCD to create .IMG files from my Metal Gear Solid discs
Then converted them to .ISO's for us with ImpalerPSX
Then chose the one code for both discs to create a multidisc eboot.
Then stuck it on my psp, and it recognised it and I loaded it up and tried it on all the pops versions, including the original from flash (using CFW 390m333)
But all I get after the boot up screen is a black screen and no sound.
When I press the home button I have a greyed out option to change disc there, but obviously I couldnt get the first started.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to get this working?
Thanks

try making the multidisk eboot with just the command line version from dark alex, sometimes those gui's just dont work

Iso is a sh*t format to Psx game on Psp.
Use Alchool 120% and create image file in .bin/.cue format.

I'm not sure I can understand how to do it with that

The Impaler prog wanted .iso for some reason
Whats the easiest way round making a multidisc image then?

I'm having the same problem with the PSX2PSP gui using clonecd IMG's. Everything else is propper but nothing works. On any popsversion except for a european rip of FF7. Which I'm not really that into, just testing before I give it to my brother.
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain asks me if I want to convert the save data on a couple pops vers. But then promptly gives me the FU blackscreen.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain SLUS-00027 NTSC-U
Savegame function does not work correctly; savegames are seen as corrupt when read.
Saving seems to be fixed on 3.71 M33-3.

All sorted out. In part (a massive part) thanks to you and some others mentioning alcohol ##%.
CloneCD doesn't rip as good to it's own format as Alcohol 52% does. weird.

Ok use Alchohol 120%
Whats the easiest way round making a multidisc EBOOT then? (after using Alchohol?)
I done understand how to use dark alex's one, and cannot find a guide for it.
(I guess a search would be a good idea, however the search for these forums doesnt appear to work for me for some reason:()
thanks

Thanks for the advice for using alchohol, I used that to rip my pal discs to bin/cue files, then used RS-GUI PopStationMD v3.00 to convert them.
Seems to work good so far (pops 3.72)
If I now done FF7's discs this way would I still be able to use the save that I have for disc one single?

I ripped to clonecd IMF files.
Using KingSquitter's PSX2PSP you click options. Select your first disc, then click convert and it asks for the others. Going from left to right
1 2
3 4
It worked for me. Hope it works for you.

Thanks, I'll give that a go later.
I presume then I'll still be abelt o use my current save for FF7 without having to modify it?
(obviously using the same disc code as before)

Well done FF7's 3 discs with clone cd and used RS-GUI PopStationMD v3.00 again to make the multiboot, as PSX2PSP didnt want to work for me for some reason (I'll work it out sometime.)

I dunno how good my suggestion will be, but I have been ripping Playstation Images, for my own backup purposes, of course, for years now.
Unfortunately, from what I understand, there Is no perfect way to rip PSX, as every time you do It, It will have different CRCs, but the program of choice for me, has always been GoldenHawks CDRWin.
I get nearly 100% working rips using this program, and It does It to bin/cue, which I believe Is also the only format that should be used to backup PSX. In fact....this has been the format of choice, for years.
It used to be that ISO, didnt support multiple tracks, but Ive been out of the loop for a while, so things may well have changed.
Someone will surely correct me, If Im wrong, and could use the advice anyway..
Cheers

I was working with impallerpsx and rs gui popstationmd v3 and i have problem to add the sound file (snd0.at3) to the eboot. I know that this file is not to be longer than 500KBytes but for some reason both program do not include on the eboot file. What can i do?

ok I am about to go mental here. I dont have long to do this so please reply as soon as you can.
I have 2 files which are 2 parts of a single PSX game I started with .ECM files which came with CUE images, then used something called unECM to convert them to BIN files. I tried merging the to 2 BIN files in popstation GUI by calling them both the same thing but it didnt work. (I am a total noob who has no clue what he is doing by the way)
I then downloaded Impaler PSX and put the 2 eboots that I got from popstation and it converted them into ISOs and it said check values.
Can someone please explain exactly what I have to do to merge these 2 files into 1 eboot step by step I would be most appreciative.
